What do I wear/bring to a yoga class?
Please wear gym clothing or active wear. Yoga is practiced barefoot so no special foot wear is required. Bring a bottle of water and a towel if you perspire easily.
Do I need a mat?
We have yoga mats available to hire for a gold coin donation to charity. You are of course welcome to bring your own, or we have mats available to purchase.
How early should I arrive?
We politely request you arrive 5 - 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Please note the studio doors are locked for security once the class commences.
Which classes are suitable for beginners?
For complete beginners we recommend a beginners course or slow flow class. Yin & restorative classes are also appropriate for all levels. If you are fit & healthy you are welcome to attend general level classes, but be prepared to be challenged!
Do I need to book in advance?
For efficiency in the studios online bookings are preferred for all classes.
If the class is fully booked you will be added to a wait list and notified by email if/when you are added to the class.
Is there car parking?
There is unlimited, unrestricted street parking at our Grange studio. We recommend parking on Raymont Rd.
There is limited onsite parking at our Ascot studio, and unlimited unrestricted parking in surrounding streets.
How long can I put my membership on hold for?
You can pause your membership for a minimum 2 weeks, maximum 4 weeks. Shorter or longer periods will be considered in extenuating circumstances.
How much notice do I need to give to put my membership on hold?
You may pause your membership at any time with 24 hours notice. Your next payment due date will be automatically recalculated at the end of the suspension period and all subsequent payments rescheduled accordingly.
Does my membership automatically renew?
Yes your membership will automatically continue at the end of the minimum contract period of 12 weeks (6 payments) unless/until we receive notice to cancel.
How do I cancel my membership?
You can terminate your membership at any time after the initial 12 week contract period by emailing email@example.com. Your membership will be cancelled with effect from your next payment due date.
How can I cancel a booking?
We recommend downloading the SoHo Yoga App to your mobile device from which you can manage your schedule with ease. Alternatively please phone 07 3180 1686 to cancel a reservation.
What if I miss a class?
We understand that life sometimes gets in the way and you may not make it to class on time. Please ensure you cancel at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure other students don't miss out. Repeat offenders may be charged a nominal no-show/late cancellation fee of $5.
How do I book/buy a class for a friend?
You will need to visit our MindBody site to book/buy a class for a friend. Click here and login as normal, select the class you wish to attend, then follow the prompts to make a reservation for someone else.
Do you offer kids yoga?
Yes we offer kids yoga during term time at both Ascot & Grange studios. Follow this link for details.
