Twice daily yoga classes for all levels will be themed around balancing hormonal swings, managing stress & anxiety, harnessing your inner strength to develop self-confidence, supporting your cycle from fertility through to menopause, and promoting rejuvenating sleep & balancing the nervous system. Enjoy meditation on the beach in the morning and wind down with relaxing Yoga Nidra in the evening. Plus have fun discovering the benefits of herbal teas and learning how to blend your signature brew during a special hands-on workshop using naturopathic herbs, and take the opportunity for a personalised Nutrition/Naturopathy consultation (extra cost option). We stay at Tallow Beach Houses, a private 30 acre sanctuary where the beach and the bush come together on the edge of the National Park. Situated halfway between the famous Byron Bay lighthouse and Broken Head with 630 meters of beachfront, uncrowded waves, the friendly wildlife, a tranquil lake and a bicycle track into Byron township complete the scene.
Accommodation is in 2 or 3-bedroom beachfront cottages situated within a nature reserve and natural bush setting. Self-contained and secluded, each cottage has its own private kitchen/dining/living space and large undercover deck. Some cottages overlook the lake and the beach is just 60 meters away so you can enjoy a great night's sleep to the hypnotic sound of the ocean.
ABOUT THE FOOD
All inclusive of 3 delicious & nutritious meals each day designed to help nurture your body through the healing process and promote optimum health. Our vegetarian meals are lovingly prepared by using fresh organic ingredients sourced from the local area. Each morning after yoga we enjoy a fresh healthy cleansing juice before our lovely buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner are both delicious substantial meals but please note we cut out meat, most dairy, wheat and sugar so our bodies are gently cleansing. Tea and fruits are available throughout the retreat as well as purified drinking water. By the end of the retreat you'll be feeling energised, clear and nourished with recipes and ideas for continuing your healthy eating at home.
