Beginner’s Yoga Could be the Change you Need

We host beginner’s yoga classes and courses in-person in our Grange studio and also offer on-demand classes for your convenience. Here’s what you can expect from our beginner’s yoga classes and courses.

BEGINNER’S YOGA IMMERSION

We recommend our Beginner’s Yoga Immersion for beginners who want to start their yoga journey with us. Held once a quarter over 4 Sundays, we will enable you to find your personal yoga practice in a safe and supported environment.

SLOW FLOW

Our regular Slow Flow classes focus on gentle movement, light stretching and slower transitions between the poses. Beginners can learn the poses in their own time as we take it slow, focusing on mind-body connection, not progress.

YIN YOGA

For a deeper stretch we recommend our yin yoga classes. Suitable for all levels these classes are designed to improve mobility and flexibility, as well as promote the flow of energy withing the body for optimal health.

Relax and Restore

People of all experience levels can benefit from this class as we focus on deep relaxation. Enjoy a sequence of supported, nourishing poses for the body accompanied by guided meditation to sooth the mind.

There are many different styles of yoga for different levels out there which can seem overwhelming for a beginner, and someone else’s experience may not always be appropriate for your own situation. We make it easy for you to trial different yoga styles and classes as a beginner and decide what is right for you. We can promise you will experience these benefits when you join our classes:

  • Yoga is a long-term change that will bring physical, spiritual and lifestyle change. With slower breathing and a calm mind, you can approach life and its challenges differently.

  • For beginners, yoga involves gentle movement and light stretching to bring oxygen to the muscles, lungs and brain and restore energy flow to the body for optimal health.

  • For students in good physical health and with some yoga experience you can also practice stronger poses that focus on building strength, balance, and stamina.

All forms of yoga incorporate stretching and relaxation. With experience, you can choose to increase the intensity and difficulty by joining our general-level Rise & Shine and Vinyasa Yoga classes.
