Cultivating Courage: A Heart Expanding Masterclass with Sheila

Cultivating Courage: A Heart Expanding Masterclass with Sheila

Courage, derived from the Latin word cor (heart), referring to the core of our deepest longings, shone through in the face of something that frightens us. Our hearts need to be protected. Hence, the cage of muscle and bone so divinely structured around them. But they also need to be breathed, to be nourished, to be felt, to be heard. They need to receive, AND be able to shine their light on the world.

Too much strength constricts, too much softness untethers. Both can be unstable; the balance is fine, and ever shifting.  This is where the practice lies… what do you need more of, on any given day, in any given moment, to feel free? Join Sheila for a forthcoming vinyasa practice to wheel (Urdvha Danurasana).
